The park is located 7 miles east of Elkhorn City, KY and 8 miles north of Haysi, VA on KY-VA 80.
 
Available Accommodations at the Park include:
Motor Lodge
The Breaks Motor Lodge was built on the rim of the canyon. The rooms have balconies with a beautiful view.
Open April 1 - December 22.
 
Cottages
Secluded in peaceful woodlands are two-bedroom, fully equipped family cottages.
Open year-round. Maximum of five persons. Cottages are rented from Monday to Monday.
 
Campground
Campers can choose from among 122 campsites with utilities
Open April 1 - October 31.
 
 
JOHN FLANNAGAN CAMPGROUNDS

John W. Flannagan Reservoir has three campgrounds
 
1. Lower Twin (near Haysi)
2. Cranesnest Areas #1, #2, and #3 (near Clintwood)
3. Pound River Area (also near Clintwood)
 
All these campgrounds are operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The three campgrounds combined have a total of 93 sites. Many of these sites have full and electrical hookups. Camping fees are charged from mid May through Labor Day.
