Come Face to Face with Nature at the

Birchleaf Farm

Enjoy a face to face experience with a variety of domestic and exotic animals. Drink in the rustic beauty and tranquilty of the mountains. Explore an authentic log barn sitting atop hand hewn foundation stones, a split rail fence and a stone water box.

Birchleaf Farm is an actual modern day working mountain farm hidden deep in the Dickenson County hills. They grow their own vegetables, and raise their own beef, chicken and eggs. They also grow their own hay as food for some of the farm animals. Depending on the time of year that you visit, you will be able to enjoy seeing different aspects of the ongoing farm operations.

Birchleaf Farm truly is a "hands on" experience with something to fascinate everyone in the family. Guided tours of the farm are given by appointment only. The farm is located 13 miles from the Breaks Interstate Park, or 5 miles from Haysi. Call today to schedule a tour: (540) 865-4145.
